If you have any questions about this policy or about your data, contact us at enquiry@kiomethod.com.
We collect information you give us directly, including your name, email address, and any details you provide when you sign up to a newsletter, book a call, apply for a programme, or purchase a product.
If you apply for a programme that asks about your weight loss history, such as how you lost weight or how long you have maintained it, that information is provided voluntarily by you and is used only to assess fit for the programme and to support you within it. We treat this as sensitive information and do not share it beyond what is needed to deliver the service to you.
When you make a payment, your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
We also collect some information automatically when you visit our website, such as pages viewed and how you arrived at the site, using standard analytics tools.
We use your information to deliver the products and services you have purchased or signed up for, to communicate with you about your account or booking, to send you marketing communications if you have opted in, to improve our website and content, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, including VAT record keeping.
We share information with the third parties who help us run KIO, currently Stripe for payment processing, and Calendly for call bookings. We do not sell your information to anyone. We only share what each provider needs to do its job.
We keep your information for as long as you have an active relationship with us, and for a period afterwards as required for accounting and tax purposes, generally six years, in line with UK requirements.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email enquiry@kiomethod.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
